Product Review: Pure Elements – Hairapy Conditioner

Pure Lip Hairapy ConditionerThis Hairapy Conditioner comes from a new-to-me brand called Pure Elements/Pure Lips and I picked it up during a recent sale because conditioners for my hair type have been difficult to find and this one seemed promising.

Pure Elements offers three versions of their conditioner: Original, Unscented, and the Inflorescence (essential oils) scent. I got the Inflorescence which includes peppermint, rosemary, wild lavender, sweet tangerine, yuzu, and ylang ylang essential oils.

This lovely conditioner has a lot of great ingredients including:

  • Cucumber Extract – for hydration
  • Wheat Protein – increases hair flexible, reduces split ends, and softens hair
  • Argan Oil – for softness and shine
  • Daikon Seed Extract – for detangling, shine, and manageability
  • Bamboo Extract – promotes growth and hair health
  • As well as Matcha Green Tea, Coconut Water, and Multi-Herb Extracts

It’s also cruelty free and the brand is transitioning to being 100% vegan as well.

Now on to my experience… I used this conditioner as I normally would on the ends of my hair and left it on for about two minutes before rinsing. I definitely noticed my hair was softer when I rinsed it out and once it was dry I could definitely see the shine. My hair felt perfectly moisturized and protected, which is pretty important given the thin-stranded nature of my locks. I wouldn’t recommend this for a deep condition or if you need something super rich, but it’s great for those of us who need some moisture and a little shine without the heavy, greasy after-effects of richer conditioners. Overall, I feel like this is perfect for my hair and I can’t wait to use it again.

You can get this conditioner on Etsy from Pure Lips in two sizes: 4 oz. for $8.50 or 8 oz. for $15. Samples are also available.

You can follow Pure Elements on Facebook too.
