Common Brimstone Gourmand Collection

Common Brimstone’s Gourmand Collection

Common Brimstone Gourmand Collection

I used to rarely wear perfume, but since I discovered I can smell like cake and other similar things, I’ve really started collecting indie perfumes. I came across Common Brimstone on Etsy in my search for more yummy smelling goodies. They are located in Cambridge in the UK so it did take a bit longer for my perfume to get to me (about a month after I ordered), but shipping was still quite reasonable at just over $5. Common Brimstone has a variety of scents in both oil and solid perfume

Beautifully Simple Look No. 1

You all know I love wearable looks and this is a quick, simple, but very pretty example. The tones are pinks with a subtle glow that adds a bit of dimension. Face I started with my Little Barn Apothecary Geranium & White Tea Beauty Mist because my face was a bit dry, but I knew the makeup was going to be indoors only and I would be removing it in a couple hours. Toners (not the astringent kind) and mists like this help soften and rehydrate skin which I’ve found

TLC Skincare Routine

Sometimes I think I’m pretty well adjusted to Michigan weather and then it gets super cold out of seemingly no where leaving my skin feeling really dry, dull, and unhappy. Also, I’m human and as much as I want to keep up with my multi-step routine, sometimes it just doesn’t happen. And here’s where some of my favorite ingredient-conscious TLC skincare products come in to soothe, rehydrate, and protect my skin during times of stress and cold, drying weather. Let me be totally honest, today was dreary and not pretty, and my hair was equally drab looking. But I didn’t have time to wash my hair as that’s at least a three hour ordeal from start to dry enough to go out in the cold weather and I don’t have the powers to fix the weather. So I thought today would be

Delila Sophia's 6 Lip Colors for Fall

Okay, so as much as I like summer, I love fall too and especially this little collection of lip colors I’ve curated for myself for the fall (though I’m sure I’ll be reaching for others, too). Of course I’ve included the expected purples and berries, but I think brick reds and neutrals are great for fall too. I chose these because I think it’s a great range from the darker and bolder to the softer and more neutral. These are also all ingredient-conscious, paraben free, and affordable (under $10).

DelilaSophia Chikyu Brand Review

My favorite products from this brand are the Vita Plus Eye Cream and the Balanced Skin Toner (which was included as a sample with my order), both of which I plan to purchase full sizes of. I tried these two along with the Facial Cleansing Oil, Face Polish Exfoliator, Restoration Overnight Face Cream, and Radiance Skin Booster. Here are my thoughts on each one…

New Goodies: Chikyu Skincare

Chikyu Skincare

*All products shown here were purchased by me or included as samples in my order* I’m having so much fun finding new ingredient-conscious brands to try and I discovered Chikyu Skincare on Etsy while on a search for some all natural skin brightening solutions. I’ll be trying all of these out over the next month or so, but I wanted to share a bit about the brand and my first impressions now. Chikyu is focused on simple, pure ingredients without GMO’s, sulfates, parabens, phthalates, or petrochemicals. One of the things
